I’m James.
I am a professional wedding, portrait, landscape & commercial photographer from Dublin in Ireland.
My passion for photography and Photoshop stems back almost twenty years and what started as a hobby is now a thriving business. I am a professional photographer and designer, and as such i am absolutely dedicated to detail.
For the past 20 years I have focused my attention on honing my trade with a particular interest in mastering Photoshop. My 20 years of Photoshopping heads onto animals eventually paid off and led me into photography and I never looked back.
Since then I have been photographing this beautiful country, always in search to find that hidden gem and never before seen composition. I have also studied and taught portrait photography as well as skin retouching in my workshops. Through this dedication and desire to constantly learn I have been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest companies in Ireland including Guinness, Carhartt and Aircoach.
WEDDINGS: I absolutely love shooting weddings. How I would describe my self shooting a wedding would be fun, relaxed, confident and professional. I will be your right hand man for the day. From fixing the bow ties, directing you through the day and showing you which side the boutonniere actually goes on. As well as that I will be capturing every detail of your special day in a relaxed and non invasive documentary style. I won’t be asking you to do silly poses with awkward smiles, instead I will be directing you at times when needed to create a more natural look. See for yourself GALLERY & PACKAGES.
PORTRAITS: Whether you are an aspiring model, looking for a new profile picture, a family photo, a communion or just want some really amazing pictures for your social media, you will not be disappointed. I have spent the last 4 years studying all known portrait techniques as well as hi-end skin retouching. I offer packages to suit your needs and will work with you to achieve the results you desire.
LANDSCAPE/PRINTS: For those who know me through my Instagram page will know that I am a bit of a perfectionist. I won’t post an image that I am not truly happy with and I will go to the same location 100 times if I have to until I get the right conditions and exact image I had in mind. This is why I don’t post too often. I plan every shot extensively and for this reason my images have been shared globally and prints have been purchased all over the world. All of my pictures are available as prints in any size required. just drop me a message 🙂
